Royal Distributing Cup

January 30th-31st.
The Royal Distributing Cup took place this past weekend, January 30-31, at Georgian Downs in Barrie,ON. With roughly 500 loads of snow brought in for the event the scene was set for a great weekend of racing. With high winds, above average temperatures in the pluses the weather made for a soft wet ride on a rough track but beautiful weather for watching the weekend events!

In the Sport 2 600 final on Saturday#433 Cale Callan (Mike Jackson GM, Arctic Cat) from Minesing, ON led the pack followed by #497 Spencer Carlson (Conx2share Ski-Doo) from Coldwater, ON in 2nd. Coldwater, ON. #959 Christian Sarracini (Bailey Motorsports Ski-Doo) from Kettleby, ON placed 3rd in the final.

The Pro-Lite class was dominated by #14 Rj Roy (Roy Roofing Polaris) from Porcupine, ON with #21 Blake Taylor (London Recreation Ski Doo) from Caledon, ON in 2nd and #102 Yanick Boucher (Boucher Plumbing and Heating Ski Doo) from Hearst, ON.

In the Pro Open Final #115 Dave Joanis (Royal Distributing Arctic Cat) from Cochrane, ON battled it out with #93 Iain Hayden (Rockstar OTSFF Polaris) from Holland Centre, ON. Joanis came out with the winplacing 1st and #999 Colby Crapo (Huber Motorsports OTSFF Polaris) from St.Anthony, ID was 3rd.

Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day as the forecasted rain held off until after the days finals and podium speeches. Sunday’s main events were live streamed flawlessly on snowcross.com.

In Sunday’s Sport 2 600 Final #433 Cale Callan (Arctic Cat, Mike Jackson GM) from Minesing, ON took the win with #959 Christian Sarracini (Ski-Doo Bailey Motorsports) from Kettleby, ON in 2nd and #498 James Grasser (Ski Doo) from Callander, ON in 3rd.

In the Pro Lite final #102 Yannick Boucher (Ski-Doo Boucher Heating & Plumbing) from Hearst, ON battled hard to take the win over #14 RJ Roy (Polaris Roy Roofing) from Porcupine, ON . #729 Ryan Hunt (Bailey Motorsports Ski-Doo) from Etobicoke, ON placed 3rd.

Sunday’s Pro Open final the #999 Colby Crapo (Huber Motorsports OTSFF Polaris) from St.Anthony, ID took the win over Tidal, Norway’s #799 Stale Eggen (Bailey Motorsports Ski-Doo) who placed 2nd. Egged was followed by #115 Dave Joanis (Royal Distributing Arctic Cat) from Cochrane, ON in 3rd.

The next event in the CSRA 2016 Season will be the Amsoil Kwartha Cup February 20-21, 2016 at the Lindsay Exhibition, Lindsay, ON.
