We just got word from the race committee at the Red Bull Snow Boundaries that the Race is On! Even though Mother Nature has not been forthcoming with the white stuff, the track crew at ERX have been working around the clock, blowing snow, and making course adjustments to ensure THE RACE WILL GO ON!  Here is the official word:

Course Revisions Along With Around the Clock Snow Making Ensures Red Bull Snow Boundaries Will Make History at ERX Motor Park on February 20th

Organizers and crew have been working around the clock in preparation for the first snowmobile race of its kind, Red Bull Snow Boundaries. The closed-course endurance terrain race will challenge competitors with a wide variety of terrain in what can best be described as the ultimate snowmobiling challenge.

Despite the lack of cooperation from Mother Nature in providing adequate snowfall thus far, organizers have an alternative plan in place to ensure the race will go on. The alternate course will entail an 8-mile closed loop course that will play host to a wide variety of over-the-top features including a snocross track, tight wooded trails, and natural rolling terrain with huge drops and steep climbs. With the shortened track length, the race will also be condensed; Open Racers and Ditchbangers will compete for 1 ½ hours.

“The team at ERX has been working non-stop to make sure this race is a go and together we’ve outlined an alternative course that will deliver the kind of challenge we envision for racers and give fans a one of kind racing experience,” Race Director, Joe Duncan.  “We’ll continue to watch the weather and add to the course as we get more natural snow.”

“ERX and Red Bull are committed to delivering a first class race experience. We have an extensive snow making plan with 8 snow guns and millions of gallons of water, allowing for snow making to the remote sections of the course.”

Race entries continue to come in from racers and amateurs alike from across North America who want to be a part of this unique, first of its kind race. Those interested in competing are encouraged to sign up early and take advantage of discounted entry fees. The next deadline for discounted registration is February 16th.
