The last race of the snocross season was the Amsoil Snocross National at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn. The event featured three days of snocross racing to end the season with a bang.
Women’s Pro-Am Racer Cerissa Blessum was third overall on Friday and first overall on Saturday to kick off the podium finishes for Team Arctic.
Friday and Saturday didn’t go as planned for Team Arctic’s Pro Racers Daniel Benham and Jacob Yurk. Both battled through issues in two of the three rounds on Friday. With a fresh start on Saturday, Benham won the first round and Yurk took third. In the second round, Benham took second, and Yurk took third. Unfortunately, in the third round, both struggled dropping Jake to a fifth-place finish and Dan place ninth. Both racers tied for third place points overall but lost in the tiebreaker, which is decided by the highest finish in the last race, so they ended in fourth and fifth overall. On Sunday, Benham broke through and picked up a third overall in the Pro class.
On Saturday, Eleanor Schmidt took third overall in Jr. Girls 9-13, Beau Engel went second overall in Transition 8-10, and George Boettger took second overall in 120 Champ. Local Thief River Falls Racer Colin Taggert topped the overall in the Jr. 14-15 with two first places during the heats.

In Transition 8-10, Noah Gillis and Beau Engel placed second and third overall.
Team Arctic made some headway in the standings for the season, and the team is excited to use the results as a springboard for next season.
In the Pro Class, Jacob Yurk would finish the season in fourth place, with Daniel Benham in sixth. Cerissa Blessum’s success at the last race put her in third place for this year’s Pro-Am Women.
Arctic Cat youth looks promising, with nice finishes in the season standings.
In Jr. 14-15, Colin Taggert finished in fourth, with Ryder Harnois in sixth and Brandon Martinson in seventh. Arctic Cat had five racers in the top 10 in Jr. 14-17 (Showdown), including Taggert, who topped the class, Brodey Johnson in fifth, Brandon Martinson in sixth, Ryder Harnois in seventh, and Dylan Melgaard in eighth. Taggert would also have success in the Sport (Showdown) class, finishing third for the year.
In Jr. Girls 9-13, Arctic Cat had four racers in the top 10, including Eleanor Schmidt in second in both 9-13 and Showdown, Mady Anderson in fifth (fourth in Showdown), Astrid Faul in seventh, and Vivian Jager in ninth for regular and Showdown. Kyra Hassler finished sixth and Chevelle Beebe seventh in Showdown.
Stock 200 (6-12) saw Noah Kuhn finish third for the season, and Arctic Cat grabbed the top four spots in the Showdown with Eli Pallin, Rene Chartrand, Kuhn, and Russell Walsh. Easton Greene finished on top of the Stock 200 (6-7) Showdown, and Caleb Reinhofer took third in the Stock 200 (8-10) Showdown. Noah Gillis took third in Transition 8-10, with Beau Engel right behind him in fourth. In 120 Champ, 6-12 (Showdown) George Boettger would end the season in second; Russell Walsh finished in first in both 120 Improved 4-12 (Showdown) and 120 Stock & Improved Stock 4-8 (Showdown), with Rhett Roed taking third and Easton Greene fifth in the latter.
Team Arctic will use the offseason to dial in their race strategies and sleds with an exciting outlook for the next race season.
