In the category of “you just can’t make this stuff up” our news feed this past weekend alerted us to this funny tidbit of a man in Oregon looking to get a new buggy for the winter season. Obviously short on cash but high on life, the man offered to trade more than a pound of the Devil’s Lettuce for a snowmobile he found on Craigslist. What he didn’t know was the sled was owned by an Oregon State Trooper. Needless to say a meet and swap was set up only for the unsuspecting high mark rider to discover he was soon surrounded by unmarked police cars and booked on possession. The sled coincidentally is still for sale and according to the owner it “ran when parked”. Source: United Press International
