Could this signal the end of the break-through outside-the-tunnel Pro-XC suspension? While time will only tell, if the performance and positioning of this new traditional skid from Polaris says anything, we believe the end is in sight. The new suspension is very traditional in design and shares the long front arm set-up used in both the Pro-XC and IGX suspensions. The rear drop-link is pushed as far back on the rail as possible and features two-way coupling. The new design has very broad shoulders, meaning it needs little adjustment for a variety of conditions and loads. While we found the Pro-XC set-up in Pro-S models to exhibit better groomed trail handling, the overall performance and easy to adjust nature of the Pro CC has us thinking this is the future of Polaris short-tracker suspension design.
