Timmins did not disappoint with lots of snow and an excited crowd of spectators who cheered on our racers despite two days of excessive wind and a snow storm that plagued spectators and racers alike.
During Fridays racing action in the Sport 600 class #225 Wynston Roes (Arctic Cat) from Brunner, ON took the win followed by #172 Patrick Fenton (Ski-Doo, London Recreational Racing) in 2nd and #747 Zach Stein (Ski-Doo, LP Racing) from Muskoka, ON placed 3rd.
The Pro/Am Vet class win went to #135 Francois Turgeon (Ski-Doo) from Rouyn Noranda, Quebec. #24 Nicolas Archambault (Ski-Doo) from Bonsecours, Quebec was 2nd and #985 Clinton Miller (Ski-Doo) from Rosseau, ON was 3rd.
In the Pro/Am Women’s class #574 Hailey Belanger (Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON went undefeated winning booth heats and the Pro / Am Women’s Final. #144 Shyann Gosselin (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, ON was 2nd and #502 Zoe Karkoulas (Ski-Doo, Bailey Motorsports) from Oakwood, ON placed 3rd.
Friday’s Pro class win went to #335 Taylor McCoy (Pro Street, Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON! #459 Jake Weir (Royal Distributing, FXR, Polaris) from Bracebridge, ON placed 2nd and #111 Nathan Mailloux (Ski-Doo), Ste-Sophie, QC was 3rd.
During Saturdays racing action in the Sport 600 class #225 Wynston Roes (Arctic Cat) from Brunner, ON took the win over #116 Derek Gosslein (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, ON in 2nd and #808 Adam Barr (Ski-Doo) from Wilmot, ON in 3rd.
The Pro/Am Vet class was won by #55 Gaby Tetreault (Ski-Doo, Tetreault) from Lacolle, QC on Saturday with #985 Clinton Miller (Ski-Doo) from Rosseau, ON in 2nd and #24 Nicolas Archambault (Ski-Doo) from Bonsecours, QC in 3rd.
In the Pro/Am Women’s class #574 Hailey Belanger (Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON took the win in the days final. #144 Shyann Gosselin (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, ON placed 2nd and #889 Callie Bristol (Ski-Doo) from Trenton, ON was 3rd.
In Saturday’s the Pro class #335 Taylor McCoy (Pro Street, Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON was on top of the podium in 1st with #459 Jake Weir (Royal Distributing, FXR, Polaris) from Bracebridge, ON in 2nd and #111 Nathan Mailloux (Ski-Doo), Ste-Sophie, QC in 3rd.
On Sunday #808 Adam Barr (Ski-Doo) from Wilmot, ON took his first win in the Sport 600 class. #116 Derek Gosselin (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, ON was 2nd, and #194 Justin Hayward (Ski-Doo, Team Gelinas) from Camlachie, ON was 3rd.
The Pro/Am Vet class #985 Clinton Miller (Ski-Doo) from Rosseau, ON placed 1st. #55 Gaby Tetreault (Ski-Doo, Tetreault) from Lacolle, Quebec placed 2nd and #168 Ryan Arthur (SkiDoo) from Clarksburg, ON.
In the Pro/Am Women’s class #574 Hailey Belanger (Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON took the win on Sunday. #502 Zoe Karkoulas (Ski-Doo, Bailey Motorsports) from Oakwood, ON was 2nd and #144 Shyann Gosselin (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, ON finished 3rd.
Sundays Pro win went to our 2023 Pro Champion #459 Jake Weir (Royal Distributing, FXR, Polaris) from Bracebridge, ON. #111 Nathan Mailloux (Ski-Doo), Ste-Sophie, QC was 2nd and #458 Trent Weir (Royal Distributing, FXR, Polaris) from Bracebridge, ON was 3rd.
