“Royal Distributing Cup” National Snowmobile Races

  January 30-31 at Georgian Downs  Innisfil, Ont.

This weekend, (200) of of the World’s best snowmobile racers roll into Georgian Downs Innisfil, to compete at the “Royal Distributing Cup” National Snowcross races. The event will feature racer’s from across Canada, the USA and Europe. See Royal Distributing sponsored racer David Joanis take on (7) time Canadian Champion Iain Hayden, the USAs Colby Crapo, and Norway’s Stale Eggen.

On Saturday and Sunday, Novice, Junior and Sport class races start at 9:00AM with the Rockstar Energy Drink Pro Main Events starting at 1:45PM both days.The Georgian Downs facility features Indoor Heated Grandstands overlooking the entire race course.  Georgian Downs also features a OLG Slots Casino on site.

For those new to the sport of Snowmobile racing, Snowcross racing is similar to Motorcycle Motocross.  Racers will compete (10-15) racers at a time in on a challenging ½ mile, snow race course featuring huge 100’ foot jumps, drop offs and moguls.

Snowcross is a family sport with (27) different classes of competition for kids starting as young as 4 years of age. There are also classes for Novice and Junior boys & girls, Men & Women first time racers, Sport, Pro-Lite, and the World class Pro Open racers.

The Snowcross race course at Georgian Downs, will be set up on the Horse race course front straight area and infield so spectators can view all the action from the Indoor Heated Grandstands. All gate admission tickets permit Indoor seating on a first come basis.Outdoor viewing is also available from trackside bleachers.

All tickets for seniors 65+ and children 6-12 years of age are $15. Youth and Adult admission tickets are $25 Saturday and Sunday.  Spectator admission tickets will be sold at the Georgian Downs front entrance gates on race days. The admission gates open at 9:00AM Saturday and Sunday. The Main Events Pro racing starts at 1:45 PM both days.  If you can’t attend in person, the “Royal Distributing Cup” Main Events Pro races will be Live Streamed Free!! starting at 1:45PM on Sunday afternoon from www.snowcross.com
