The CSRA and Horseshoe Resort staff worked tirelessly to make snow and re-schedule everything to bring the season finale to life a week sooner than originally planned. The weekend started off with Saturdays Royal Distributing Cup and came to a close on Sunday in a grand fashion with the Ultimax Snowcross Championships and the 4c Ric Wilson Memorial Pro/Pro-Lite Champions Invitational.

 

Saturdays races took place under the Horseshoe Resort ski hill lights creating an exciting atmosphere for racers and fans alike.

In the Sport 600 class it was first year racer #808 Adam Barr (Ski-Doo) from Wilmot, ON finishing 1st in the final. #747 Zach Stein (Ski-Doo, LP Racing) from Muskoka, ON placed 2nd and #839 Nathan Poirier (Arctic Cat) from Iroquoisfalls, ON was 3rd.

The Pro/Am Vet class win went to #909 Shawn Elmhirst (Ski-Doo) from Indian River, ON was 1st. #985 Clinton Miller (Ski-Doo) from Rosseau, ON was 2nd and #168 Ryan Arthur (Ski-Doo) from Clarksburg, ON was 3rd.

In the Pro/Am Women’s class #574 Hailey Belanger (The Compound Muskoka, Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON was 1st, followed by #144 Shyann Gosselin (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, ON in 2nd and #502 Zoe Karkoulas (Ski-Doo, Bailey Motorsports) from Oakwood, ON in 3rd.

Saturday’s Royal Distributing Cup and Pro win went to #459 Jake Weir (Royal Distributing, FXR, Polaris) from Bracebridge, ON! #335 Taylor McCoy (Pro Street, Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON placed 2nd and #140 Cael Firth (Ski-Doo, The Compound) from Innisfil, ON was 3rd.

Sunday’s Ultimax Snowcross Championships started off with excitement as the final day of the 2024 racing season!

In the Sport 600 class #808 Adam Barr (Ski-Doo) from Wilmot, ON took the win again on Sunday. #116 Derek Gosslein (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, ON in 2nd and #194 Justin Hayward (Ski-Doo, Team Gelinas) from Camlachie, ON was 3rd.

The Pro/Am Vet class win went to #985 Clinton Miller (Ski-Doo) from Rosseau, ON followed by #909 Shawn Elmhirst (Ski-Doo) from Indian River, ON in 2nd and #168 Ryan Arthur (SkiDoo) from Clarksburg, ON in 3rd.

In the Pro/Am Women’s class #574 Hailey Belanger (The Compound Muskoka, Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON took the win on Sunday. #144 Shyann Gosselin (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, ON was 2nd and #502 Zoe Karkoulas (Ski-Doo, Bailey Motorsports) from Oakwood, ON finished 3rd.

Sunday’s Ultimax Snowcross Championship Pro win went to #335 Taylor McCoy (Pro Street, Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON who went undefeated for the day. #140 Cael Firth (Ski-Doo, The Compound) from Innisfil, ON was 2nd and #111 Nathan Mailloux (Ski-Doo), Ste-Sophie, QC was 3rd.

Saturdays UTV 1000Ccc Production class winner was #432 Paul Clark (Kawasaki) from Phelpston, ON. #16 Marc Blier ( Yamaha) from Kapuskasing, ON finished 2nd and #531 James Mclean (Polaris) from Ajax, ON was 3rd.

The UTV Production 1000cc Turbo class saw #16 Marc Blier (Kawasaki) from Kapuskasing, ON took the win. #13 Darren Peters (Can-Am) from Fort Erie, ON was 2nd, followed by #531 James Mclean (Polaris) from Ajax, ON in 3rd.
