Race Results are in as the Youth of Snowmobile Racing put their tracks in the snow to demonstrate their potential in Lindsay during the 30th CSRA races. The event attendees, including both racers and spectators, highlighted their compassion and dedication to their communities by donating over 500 pounds of food to support the Kawartha Lakes Food Source.

Saturday morning saw beautiful blue sky’s and a hard packed track ready for some action. In the Sport 600 class saw #116 Derek Gosselin (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, Ontario went undefeated in the heats and took home the checkered flag in the final. #194 Justin Hayward (Ski-Doo) from Camlachie, ON was 2nd and one of our brand new racers #808 Adam Barr (Ski-Doo) from Wilmot, On took home 3rd.

In the Junior (14-17yrs) it was #116 Derek Gosselin (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, Ontario going undefeated once again. #225 Wynston Roes (Arctic Cat) from Brunner, ON was 2nd and #144 Shyann Gosselin (Ski-Doo) from Kapuskasing, ON was 3rd.

Our Junior/Novice (10-15yrs) class was won by #100 Trey Doran (Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON. His teammate #740 Carter Vanhorsigh (Ski-Doo) from Puslinch, ON was 2nd and #888 Eliott Martel (Ski-Doo) from Rouyn-Noranda, QC was 3rd.

The Transition 2 (11-13yrs) class #100 Trey Doran (Ski-Doo) from Bracebridge, ON took the win. His teammate #740 Carter Vanhorsigh (Ski-Doo) from Puslinch, ON was 2nd, followed by #513 Jacob Yarek (Arctic Cat) from Scotland, ON.

In the Transition 1 (8-10yrs) class #555 Emile Tetreault (Ski-Doo) from Lacolle, QC placed 1st. #198 Landon Telford (Ski-Doo) from Severn, ON was 2nd followed by #705 Carter Jory (SkiDoo) from Trentlakes, ON in 3rd.

The Novice 200-2 (9-12yrs) class had the #401 of Connor Muir (Ski-Doo) from Minesing, ON in 1st with #507 Jade Bidinot (Ski-Doo) from Beeton, ON hot on his heels in 2nd. #858 Blythe Latimer (Arctic Cat) Tiny, ON., with #670 Chase Oglestone (Ski-Doo) from Caledon east, ON placed 3rd.

In the Novice 200-1 (6-8yrs) #507 Jade Bidinot (Ski-Doo) from Beeton, ON dominated the heats and final. #666 Ben Burns (Yamaha) from Cameron, ON was 2nd, followed by #115 Colter Cody (Yamaha) from Kaspuskasing, ON was 3rd.

Our Novice 200 Beginner (6-12yrs) saw #818 Kolton Love (Polaris) from Washago, ON taking home 1st place, followed by #506 Hudson Trusz (Yamaha) from Barrie, ON in 2nd. #995 Owen Thompson (Yamaha) from Markham, ON was 3rd.

The 120 Pro 206 2 B&S (8-10yrs) was dominated by #818 Kolton Love (Polaris) from Washago, ON. #507 Jade Bidinot (Ski-Doo) from Beeton, ON was 2nd, followed by #115 Colter Cody (Arctic Cat) from Kapuskasing, ON in 3rd.

In the 120 Pro 206 1 B&S (6-7yrs) had #816 William Mulvihill (Yamaha) from Utterson, ON was 1st. #818 Kolton Love (Polaris) from Washago, ON was 2nd and #620 Jacob Meyer (Yamaha) was 3rd.

The 120 Stock 1 (4-6yrs) class had #750 Ryerson Vangennip (Sk-Doo) from Baltimore, ON out front followed by #666 Ben Burns (Yamaha) from Cameron, ON in 2nd. #647 Jayden McIntee (Polaris) from Kilworthy, ON finished in 3rd.

The 120 Stock 2 (6-10yrs) class was won by #279 Jillian Charbonneau (Ski-Doo) from Breslau, ON. #558 Weston Dafoe (Yamaha) from Foxboro, ON was 2nd and #129 Deegan Sudsbury (Polaris) from Bewdley, ON was 3rd.

In the Novice 200-1 (6-8yrs) #507 Jade Bidinot (Ski-Doo) from Beeton, ON dominated the heats and final. #115 Colter Cody (Yamaha) from Kapuskasing, ON was 2nd, followed by #620 Jacob Meyer (Yamaha) was 3rd.

The 120 Stock 2 (6-10yrs) class was won by #129 Deegan Sudsbury (Polaris) from Bewdley, ON. #318 Oaklyn Strachan (Polaris) from Omemee, ON was 2nd and #279 Jillian Charbonneau (Ski-Doo) from Breslau, ON was 3rd.

 

Saturdays UTV 1000cc Turbo class winner was #19 Roger Gale (Can-Am) from Moonstone, ON. #667 Lenny Veljacic (Can-Am) Stayner, ON finished 2 nd followed by #16 Marc Brier (Kawasaki) from Kapuskasing, ON in 3 rd .

The UTV Production 1000cc class winner was #72 Ken Avann (Polaris) from Sutton West, ON. #16 Marc Brier (Yamaha) from Kapuskasing, ON was 2 nd.

 

The CSRA heads to Sudbury, ON for the Sudbury Pro Snowcross races presented by Algonquin Equipment & Ski-Doo March 2-3, 2024.
